The Wisley Wedding Photography

Welcome to The Wisley Wedding Photography of {L} & (B}. I can say that “The Wisley” has become one of my favourite wedding venues in Surrey.

The Wisley is a private member’s golf course in Surrey, within an easy commute to Central London. Driving through the security-coded gates, you can feel The Wisley is an exceptional venue.

The Wisley’s golf course comprises three loops of nine holes. It has won many rave reviews and is consistently on the list of the best golf courses in England.

The membership has many golfing professionals, as well as celebrities. On the day of the wedding, I was lucky to meet Ben Stokes, fresh from his heroics at the Cricket World Cup!

Members can enjoy delicious food on the terrace overlooking the golf course or a fabulous meal in the clubhouse with friends and family.

The Wisley, nestled in 224 acres of surroundings, is picturesque, and beautiful Surrey countryside, with amazing cuisine and attentive staff to help, and makes it such a fantastic experience.

The Wisley is near to the very famous RHS Wisley Gardens, which is also a lovely venue for weddings.

 

Surrey Wedding

As a Surrey Wedding Photographer, my day started with me visiting the bridal party in Bookham, Surrey.

The bridal party was in a great mood and with the children made for fun prep. The bride was calm throughout, although, she was very emotional reading the letter sent to her by the groom.

Marius, the other photographer,  started with the groom and groomsmen at The Talbot Hotel in Ripley. The guys were also in a great mood, and the photos show this.

St Nicolas Church in Great Bookham, Surrey, was the setting for the wedding ceremony.

It’s commonly thought that St Nicolas Church has been a site for worship since the 7th century. St Nicolas Church is mentioned in the Domesday Book, and is beautiful now, as it was when erected.

As such, The Wisley is a private members golf course, and it’s not customary to have any kind of wedding reception here. However, the groom’s father is a member and arranged for this fantastic wedding reception at The Wisley.
