I’ve been photographing weddings across Surrey and Hampshire for years, and Northbrook Park consistently draws me back. Built in the 18th Century, the Northbrook Park mansion is a Grade II listed Georgian building set within 120 acres of picturesque parkland in Farnham, on the Surrey-Hampshire border.
I photographed my first wedding at Northbrook Park for a friend who wouldn’t take no for an answer. She insisted I do it, even though I was just starting out and had no idea what I was getting into. That day was a whirlwind of nerves and pressure to capture her big moment, but it ignited my passion for this work.
The calm spaces and natural light at Northbrook Park made the experience more enjoyable than I had anticipated. Because of this, Northbrook Park holds a special place in my heart.
My approach to wedding photography is all about real moments between people, and Northbrook Park gives you the space for those moments to unfold naturally.
At Northbrook Park, you have several choices for your ceremony:
The Vine Room can accommodate up to 200 guests and features high ceilings, luxurious chandeliers, marble flooring, and large windows. The fireplace serves as a background, particularly when adorned with flowers.
The Orangery accommodates up to 250 attendees. It boasts a glass ceiling, visible brick walls, and overlooks the enclosed gardens.
The Walled Gardens offer a setting for outdoor ceremonies. They feature kept lawns, water elements and a beautiful mature magnolia tree.
Having alternative plans ready is crucial. Northbrook Park is well prepared for the weather, with its sheltered areas also serving as excellent spots for photography.

Getting Ready On Site & Documentary Wedding Photography
You can prepare on-site at Northbrook Park, allowing you to focus on getting ready without the stress of rushing between locations.
There are 10 self-catering cottages on the estate, accommodating up to 80 guests overnight. This allows your closest friends and family to stay on-site, eliminating the need for driving after the evening party.
Everyone can gather for breakfast the next morning, encouraging extended celebrations beyond just the wedding day.
From a photography perspective, staying on-site is a significant advantage. It enables me to easily move between the bride and groom as they prepare, capturing those intimate moments before the ceremony.
You’ll have the chance to cherish memories like your dad adjusting his tie, your best man rehearsing his speech, and your mum seeing you in your dress.
By staying at the venue, you eliminate wasted time, parking stress, and the anxiety of running late.
Weddings That Honour Every Tradition
I have captured images of Hindu rituals, nuptials, Sikh matrimonial events, and classic white-gown weddings in various locations around Northbrook Park.

Northbrook operates on a dry hire basis, allowing you to select your own suppliers.
You can choose your florist, caterer, and entertainment, providing the flexibility to bring your vision to life without being limited by preset packages.
