Corinthia Hotel Wedding Photographer
Corinthia Hotel Wedding Photographer. Eisu and Marty chose the luxurious setting of London’s Corinthia Hotel in Central London for their wedding and is the perfect environment for your special day.
A combination of old-school grandeur with a fresh, contemporary feel, the Corinthia is popular with the well-heeled and the well-known, from premier league players to pop stars – I passed Will.i.am on my first visit to scope out the venue.
The Corinthia Hotel is not only a luxurious wedding venue, but it also caters from intimate celebrations, in the private dining room of Kerridge’s Bar & Grill to bigger parties in the Grand Ballroom, which always impresses!
The star of this day, however, was the lovely couple, Eisu and Marty.
I first met Eisu and Marty through a mutual friend whose wedding I photographed. They were taken with the final images and asked me to photograph their engagement shoot – a fun, relaxed series of photos at their favourite London Landmarks and their wedding photography.
Luxurious Wedding Photography at The Corinthia Hotel
Eisu and Marty’s wedding day at the Corinthia started in style.
The groom’s party took breakfast at The Ivy, a popular restaurant with anyone who enjoys fine dining! Situated close to the West End theatres, it quickly became popular within the theatrical circles, with regulars such as Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier.
After finishing their breakfast, the groom and his party headed back to The Savoy to get ready for the wedding. The Savoy is another of London’s many elegant hotels.
Grooming, quite literally, complete, Marty’s entourage moved onto the Trafalgar Hotel for drinks with family and friends on The Rooftop, with the amazing skyline of London in full view!
Back at the Corinthia, in one of their impressive rooms, I was able to capture some tremendous playful shots of the bridal preparations.
I’m proud to say that one particular image of Eisu having her make-up applied won Fearless Photographer’s Photo of the Day for its creative composition.
Just before the arrival of the guests and the bride, Marty, sat in the wedding ceremony room, alone, deep in thought.
The beautiful ceremony, held in The Courtroom, itself went off perfectly and Eisu’s excited expression as she enters the wedding venue, plus the couple’s huge smiles afterwards, really encapsulate their happiness.
The Garden Lounge hosted the cocktail reception. What a magnificent room!
Before the wedding breakfast, the couple and close family created a receiving line to greet guests individually. The heartfelt hugs, unbridled laughter, and emotional exchanges were a delight to shoot, and you can grasp the depth of feeling in the final images.
Following the wedding breakfast, in the majestic Grand Ballroom, came the speeches which culminated with the bride’s father presenting the groom’s parents with a plaque inscribed with English and Burmese, a touching symbol of Eisu and Marty’s union.
Eisu’s favourite image of the day is of herself and Marty seated holding hands. Although fleeting, the photo symbolises their happiness. Eisu’s accompanying hashtags sum it up perfectly: #bestfriendsforever #BestDayOfMyLife.
Thank you Eisu and Marty for letting me photograph and be part of your fantastic day. Thanks to my friends Jacqueline, Earl and Michael, for their support on this great day. All of this was possible with the most significant help from The Corinthia Hotel’s wedding planner, Hannah!
I enjoyed my day as a Corinthia Hotel Wedding Photographer. I can’t wait to photograph more wedding at this elegant hotel.
Corinthia Hotel Wedding Photography
Eisu and Marty’s wedding photos encapsulate my photography style – comfortable, relaxed, and natural – I strive to tell the story of couples’ weddings as is unfolds, focussing on the big and small gestures that say so much.
That said, I also love getting creative and trying to shoot something different – whether it’s the perspective, the composition, the lighting, or all three – to create images with a third, almost magical, dimension.
If you like what you see, I’d love to meet up and chat about your London wedding photography. I photograph weddings at top venues throughout London, Surrey, and destinations outside the UK. To meet up or check my availability please drop me a line here.
