Addington Palace Wedding Photography On A Cold Winter’s Day
Welcome to the Addington Palace Wedding Photography of S & R. A fusion of Nepalese and Indian Wedding Photography.
I have known the groom his entire life. Our families go back a long way, and I was delighted when S & R insisted I be the photographer for their wedding. After much deliberation, the couple decided to marry at Addington Palace.
Addington Palace is a beautiful venue with friendly and well-managed staff. It was such a joy to shoot a wedding here.
A Truly Stunning Palace Wedding Venue
Addington Palace is a historic wedding venue in 163 acres of stunning Surrey countryside. The Manor House, called “Addington Palace”, was initially built around the 16th Century. The Manor House is a Grade II* listed Georgian Mansion. The gardens are still primarily designed when built and surrounded by a park and golf course.
A Word From The Bride
“Hey Soven,
WOW just had a sneaky peek at the first few pictures and oh my goodness! Literally have been going through and saying “love that one…love this one…oh wow and this one”. May have even shed a little tear on a few! I would like to take this opportunity to just say a massive THANK YOU for capturing those beautiful special moments of our wedding day.
So grateful for these incredible pictures and once again thank you. I will keep you updated as I go through the albums.
You have a great job if this is how you can make people feel at the end of it!”
Addington Palace Wedding Photographer
It was a reasonably warm Winter’s day. It was chilly throughout the day, but the guests’ warmth made for a spectacular wedding.
The morning started with a Hindu religious ceremony, a fusion of Nepalese & Indian traditions. The grandeur as the groom announces his arrival to the bride’s family with a Gurkha marching band with friends and family. Once the Hindu ceremony was over, the b & g were whisked away for some portraits.
I love this part of the day as it allows them to relax, take a moment away from their guests, and share moments. Then it was on to the White Wedding – the civil ceremony. The light inside was pretty harsh, but it made for beautiful photos! Then the reception of hilarious speeches and a party to end all parties !!!
As always, thanks to the incredible Marius for helping me to capture this beautiful wedding!
