A Warm Addington Palace Wedding Photography On A Cold Winter’s Day
Welcome to the Addington Palace Wedding Photography of S & R. I have known the groom his entire life. Our families go back a long way, and I was delighted when S & R insisted I be the photographer for their wedding. After much deliberation, the couple decided to marry at Addington Palace. Addington Palace is a beautiful venue, the staff are friendly and it is well managed. It was such a joy to shoot a wedding here.
A Truly Stunning Palace Wedding Venue
Addington Palace is a historic wedding venue, and is nestled in 163 acres of stunning Surrey countryside. The Manor House, called “Addington Palace” was originally built around the 16th Century. The Manor House is Grade II* listed Georgian Mansion. The gardens are still largely the same design as when it was built. The building is surrounded by a park and a golf course.
A Word From The Bride
WOW just had a sneaky peek at the first few pictures and oh my goodness! Literally have been going through and saying “love that one…love this one…oh wow and this one”. May have even shed a little tear on a few! I would like to take this opportunity to just say a massive THANK YOU for capturing those beautiful special moments of our wedding day.
So grateful for these incredible pictures and once again thank you. I will keep you updated as I go through the albums.
You have a great job if this is how you can make people feel at the end of it!”

It was a fairly warm Winter’s day. It was chilly throughout the day, but the warmth of the guests made for a truly spectacular wedding. The morning started with a religious Hindu ceremony, a fusion of Nepalese & Indian traditions. There is always grandeur of the arrival of the groom (the baraat – in Nepal, it is called the Janti) with lots of fanfare. Once the Hindu ceremony was over, the b & g were whisked away for some portraits. I love this part of the day as it allows them to relax and take a moment away from their guests and share moments together.
Then it was on to the White Wedding – the civil ceremony. The light inside was pretty harsh, but made for wonderful photos! Then the reception of hilarious speeches and a party to end all parties !!!
As always, a big thanks to the incredible Marius Tudor who is always on the top of his photography game and captured amazing moments.
