Elegant Architecture,

& Classic London Charm

If you’re getting married at The Old Marylebone Town Hall, you’re joining over a thousand couples who have stood before you and said “I do”. These include Sir Paul McCartney, Cilla Black, Liam Gallagher, David Gilmour, and Antonio Banderas, among others.
The Old Marylebone Town Hall is right in the heart of London, with a stone facade, famous steps, and an elegant design without being over the top. The magnificent portico, supported by full-height Corinthian columns, is the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs.
The venue can accommodate smaller weddings and also larger celebrations. The building has character without being stuffy.
The area of Marylebone is convenient and historic, nestled between the two great parks of London. While both Regents and Hyde Park require a permit to take wedding photographs, they are full of gorgeous areas and backdrops that will make your pictures memorable.
I’ve photographed enough weddings here to know what works and what doesn’t, and this guide covers everything you need to know about getting married at The Old Marylebone Town Hall. The practical stuff that helps you plan a day that feels right for you.

Reasons To Have An
Old Marylebone Town Hall Wedding
The Old Marylebone Town Hall is one of London’s best wedding venues and the finest building in Marylebone. First designed in 1914, it inspired the Graeco-Roman style that became popular during the Edwardian era.
Flexibility
Want a small ceremony with just your closest people? Sorted. Want 100 guests and readings? They can do that too.
Ceremonies are staggered so you get your moment without feeling rushed by the next couple.
Perfect Photography
The magnificent portico, supported by full-height Corinthian columns, is the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs. The marble staircase inside. The iconic front steps for confetti. The pillars and arches.
Walk 15 minutes, and you’re in Regent’s Park. Or use the cobbled streets of Marylebone right outside.
You’re spoilt for backdrops without having to travel.

Central London Location
You’re right in the middle of London. Marylebone Road. Easy to reach, whether you’re coming from across the city or flying in from abroad.
Seven Ceremony Rooms
Pick based on your guest count or what feels right. From the intimate Paddington Room for eight people to the Westminster Room for 100.
Wood-panelled rooms, if you want something darker. Lighter rooms like the Soho or Pimlico, if you prefer that feel.
Your dog can come. Cats too. They’re welcome at the ceremony.

The Ceremony Rooms
Most of the rooms in this venue are beautifully oak-panelled, with large, floor-to-ceiling windows that provide incredible lighting, but some, such as the Soho Room, are much lighter and silver-toned. These different aesthetics are ideal, as they allow for a variety of themes within an old, historic building in a highly convenient location.
Every couple should be able to take the pictures they have always dreamed of. Whether this is group shots, intimate couple portraits, or completely natural and candid snaps, I want you to be thrilled with the final product.
