Hi, I’m Soven, a Surrey Family Photographer, photographing families in Surrey and the surrounding areas. Family life isn’t always tidy. It’s noisy, loving, unpredictable and full of feeling. These are the moments that matter.
The way your child reaches for your hand without thinking. The tired cuddle at the end of a busy day. The way your partner looks at your child when they think no one’s watching. These are the things we forget too quickly. Photographs can hold them for you.
Life moves fast. Little hands grow, laughter fills rooms, and before we know it, this moment becomes memory.
The photographs aren’t about perfection, stiff poses or forced smiles. It’s about connection. It’s about holding on to what this time really felt like, with all its beauty and imperfection, shared together.

As an experienced family photographer, I watch. I wait. I gently guide when needed, but mostly I let you be you. I create a space where your family can relax and feel safe just to be together.
Children don’t need to perform. I follow their lead. Whether they want to play, explore, hide behind your legs or cling to your arms, that’s all welcome. The emotion lives in those honest moments.

01 / Where Will The Session Take Place?
Family sessions can happen in your home, your garden, or a favourite outdoor location. Wherever you feel most relaxed and connected is the best backdrop for your story.
03. What If My Children Won’t Sit Still?
Perfect! That’s exactly how it should be. These sessions are about real life, not stiff poses. Children being themselves always makes for the most joyful and meaningful photographs.
02 / How Long Does The Session Last & When Will We Get The Photographs?
Sessions usually last between two to four hours. You’ll receive your full gallery of professionally edited images within four weeks of the session.
04 / What Should We Wear For Our Session?
Wear clothes that you feel comfortable in and that reflect who you are as a family. Avoid logos or loud patterns, and choose colours that complement each other without being too matchy. Layers and textures work well, and bare feet are welcome at home!
