Selsdon Park Hotel Wedding Photography; Sarah and Kam’s wedding at Devere’s Selsdon Park Hotel, Surrey, was energetic and exciting.
I was delighted to be a part of it and exhausted by the end of it.
Keeping It Simple
The whole day, from start to finish, was at the hotel.
The bride and groom both got ready at the hotel (separately), followed by the ceremony and reception, eliminating much of the logistical stress of ensuring everyone arrived on time for the service.
It also made it much easier for me.
Fun And Vibrant
Keen to get into good spirits at the earliest opportunity, the bride and groom enjoyed a glass or two of champagne with their friends and family while getting ready. The photos reflect the fun and energy of the weddings and the wedding’s vibrant orange and rich purple colour scheme.
The Venue
As a wedding photographer in Surrey, I get invited to some stunning venues, and the Selsdon Park Hotel and Golf Club are one of the best.
Surrounded by 200 acres of beautiful countryside, the historic mansion blends Victorian and Jacobean architecture.
The landscaped gardens provided a stunning backdrop for outdoor photographs and offered ample space for guests to mill around and catch up with each other.
The hotel also boasts an 18-hole championship golf course, which I may have to pop back and give a thorough inspection another time.
Kam’s Double Fortune
Kam enjoyed the company of two beautiful ladies on his wedding day.
His bride, Sarah, looked stunning in an elegant lace gown, and his daughter dazzled in a sparkly purple dress with an ivory sash.
On A Mission To Celebrate
The couple’s intentions for the day were clear.
They wasted no time toasting their marriage, grabbing a glass of champagne when the ceremony concluded.
Following their example, the guests enjoyed good company, great conversation and plenty of food and drink for many hours.
I had a great time and feel extremely lucky to call this a ‘job’.
