Old Down Manor Wedding Photography

Welcome to the Old Down Manor Wedding Photography of {L} & {D}.

Old Down Manor is situated within Old Down Country Park, near Bristol. The setting is very picturesque with amazing views of the Somerset countryside, and you can even see the Severn Bridge and Wales in the distance!

The Manor House is elegant with Victorian heritage and architecture. The spacious entrance has a sweeping staircase, balcony, and beautiful chandeliers.

The gardens and surroundings are equally impressive, with stunning over the Somerset countryside, with so many perfect locations for couple portraits. There are several locations within the grounds of the Manor at Old Down Estate for making stunning portraits, too.

Old Down Manor has everything you’d need to have a beautiful wedding surrounded by your guests, creating memories you’ll treasure forever.

My day started at a barn, also a part of the Old Down Manor, to capture the bride and bridal party getting ready.

Michael and Marisa, whose wedding I photographed a few years previously at Lillibrooke Manor, were helping me to document the Old Manor Down Wedding of their friends {L} & {D}.

Michael and Marisa photographed the groom while I photographed the bridal party.

The wedding ceremony was lovely. Even before the bride’s arrival, the groom was already emotional and had to wipe the tears away; plenty of tissue paper was used throughout the service.

Once the ceremony was over, there were plenty of hugs and laughter.

The wedding breakfast was hosted in the Orangery, overlooking the Victorian rose gardens, with the Somerset panorama as a backdrop. The speeches were both funny and poignant.

The bride and groom play Rugby Union for the same club, which is how they met. Their Rugby background inspired some of their group photos.
