Numa & Rajat – Froyle Park
I was delighted when Numa and Rajat asked me to be their Froyle Park Wedding Photographer.
Froyle Park is one of the loveliest wedding venues in Hampshire, alongside its sister venue, Northbrook Park.
Numa and I have known each other since we were children. She has always been a highly intelligent, caring, and happy-go-lucky person.
We grew up in a similar circle of friends within the Nepalese community and done our fair share of partying.
A few years ago, I met Rajat through our mutual friends. He grew up in the United States and decided to live in the UK to be closer to Numa. They are making a beautiful couple, complementing each other.
I was lucky to spend further time with them in Paris earlier in the summer, as they wanted their pre-wedding shoot in Paris. You can view their the photos of their ‘Paris Wedding Photographer’ here.
It was an early start on the wedding day. Numa was already getting ready when I arrived at Froyle Park at around 7.30 am.
This extra time allowed me to capture the details of the day, as this was especially important to Numa as she had put a lot of effort into hand-making them for the wedding.
The wedding ceremony was held outside, in the gazebo, and started just after 11 am. Once the service was over, the guests congratulated the newlyweds.
The first part of the day was over. Numa & Rajat then went inside to change into their Nepalese / Indian clothing for the next part of the wedding day.

The traditional Nepalese / Indian ceremony. Rajat and his family then made their way to the entrance Froyle Park while Numa waited patiently indoors.
Rajat and his baraat made their entrance with the dhol musicians playing traditional marriage beats!
The mix of Nepalese & Indian religious ceremony started after the families introduced themselves to each other. On completion of this, Numa & Rajat then headed off to change into their evening attire.
The reception was full of noise and joyous laughter, and the speeches were emotional and funny. Numa and Rajat first dance song was from the film Dirty Dancing, and they had choreographed their dance to it.
It was terrific watching Rajat lift Numa on cue! The day ended with Numa and Rajat making a Sparkler’s exit in the early hours of the following day.
It had been a long and exhausting day, but a fabulously romantic and colourful wedding day.
A big thank you to Numa and Rajat for sharing their wedding day with me. I wish you the best for the future.
