Wedding Photography at Eastwell Manor
Eastwell Manor Wedding Photography. A wedding at Eastwell Manor – a stunning Elizabethan-style country house in the Kent countryside. My day started at a local hotel, where the groom and the groomsmen had stayed the previous night. I was to be on groom duty, capturing those fun (and sometimes emotional) moments between friends and family.
Working as a wedding photographer in Surrey, I have to be prepared for any scenario regarding the British weather, and when I was with Darren and the groomsmen, the weather looked a little dismal. Fortunately, John and I had discussed some fantastic indoor photography ideas that would produce beautiful memories for the couple, but we didn’t need this plan.

When I arrived at Eastwell Manor with the groomsmen, a small gap in the clouds started appearing, and Charlotte and Darren could make full use of the venue’s 3,000 acres.
While John finished up with Charlotte’s preparations, I took the opportunity to gather the groomsmen together for some pre-wedding photos around the Eastwell Manor gardens. It was one of my favourite moments of the day, as it allowed me to play around with different photography styles to reflect the atmosphere and environment.
I even captured the guys messing around with a small football – a running theme throughout the day.
The weather held up for the remainder of the day, which meant that Charlotte and Darren could marry outdoors at the gazebo in the Italian Walled Maids Garden while their guests sat underneath the sun’s warmth.
This location is one of the most breathtaking at Eastwell Manor and provides practically unlimited photo opportunities for John and me. Once the ceremony was over, and Charlotte and Darren were man and wife, more and more of the sporty theme began to show.
It turns out Darren was quite the football fan, and the versatility and flexibility of Eastwell Manor had made it easy for the couple to incorporate a sporty theme into their wedding. Although very traditional, it can be adapted to suit any taste and personality, making it a top choice for couples and creating fun challenges for a Surrey wedding photographer like myself.
Although the champagne wedding breakfast soon ended, the night was far from over. Capping off a fantastic day was a great live band, belting out classic hits – classics, contemporary beats, and even the odd guilty pleasure.
The Eastwell Manor Wedding Photography of Charlotte and Darren was fun and an excellent opportunity to explore even more of the beautiful Eastwell Manor – one of Kent’s most incredible wedding venues.
