A Quiet Moment That Changes Everything

Real Emotion, Real Connection, The Moment You’ll Want To Relive Forever

The London Eye Engagement Photographs

You’ve chosen the person. You’ve chosen the ring. Now you need the moment to unfold exactly as you’ve imagined.

Whether you already have a location in mind or you’d like some suggestions, I’ll help you plan something that feels right for the two of you, not a generic backdrop, but somewhere that means something.

On the day, I’ll be there before you arrive.

Hidden and quiet until the moment happens.

Your partner won’t see me. But the moment, the look on their face, the tears, the yes, all of it will be there when you open your gallery.

After the proposal, we’ll take a few relaxed portraits together.

Nothing staged, nothing forced. Just the two of you, still caught up in the moment, with London as your backdrop.

We have looked through all the photographs (many times!) and absolutely love them! Thank you for capturing these for us!

Where To Propose In London

The right location makes everything easier. The right light, the right level of privacy, the right backdrop for the photographs. Here are some of the spots I work with most often

Tower Bridge & The South Bank

Iconic and instantly recognisable. Works especially well at golden hour when the light on the Thames is at its best. Busy during the day but quieter in the early morning or evening.

Primrose Hill

A quieter alternative to the more tourist-heavy spots. The view across the city is spectacular and the hill itself gives a natural focal point for the proposal.

Richmond Park

If you want open space, natural light and the possibility of deer in the background, Richmond is hard to beat. It feels a world away from the city despite being inside it.

Greenwich Park

One of the best views in London — the city skyline stretched out below you. More space, more privacy, and a sense of occasion that’s hard to replicate elsewhere.

The Mews Streets of Notting Hill & Marylebone

Cobbled, quiet, and deeply romantic. If you want something intimate and away from the crowds, these streets deliver every time.

St James’s Park

Central, beautiful, and surprisingly private in the right spots. The lake and the view towards Buckingham Palace make for a classic London backdrop.
If you have somewhere specific in mind — a restaurant rooftop, a private garden, somewhere that means something to the two of you — get in touch and we’ll work out the best approach together.

The Moment You’ve Been Planning For

London Proposal Photographer

You’ve thought about this. The location, the timing, the ring.

You’ve imagined how it’s going to feel.

My job is to make sure that when the moment arrives, you’re completely focused on your partner, not worrying about whether anyone is capturing it.

I’ll handle everything else.

I’m Soven, based in Surrey, photographing proposals across London, Surrey, and destinations worldwide.

QUESTIONS?

01 / How Much Time Do We Need?

The proposal itself takes as long as it takes, usually a few minutes. After that, I’ll spend up to 45 minutes with you both for relaxed portraits. If you’d like longer, that’s always available.

03 / What If My Partner Notices You?

It’s rare, but it happens. If they do spot someone with a camera, most people assume it’s a tourist or street photographer. I will carry minimal equipment and blend into the surroundings as naturally as possible.

02 / Can You Help Me Plan The Proposal?

Yes. Once you get in touch, we’ll have a planning call to discuss the location, timing, lighting, and logistics. I’ve helped plan many proposals, and I know what works. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

04 / How Do You Stay Hidden?

I always arrive early and find a position with a clear line of sight to where you have decided to propose to your partner. I am hidden in plain sight!
