Winters Barns Wedding Photography
Winters Barns Wedding Photography: Winters Barns is situated in the picturesque countryside of Kent, providing a charming and rustic wedding setting. The venue is often chosen by couples seeking a romantic and idyllic backdrop for their special day.
I met {M} and {B} a month before their wedding at Winters Barns in Canterbury, Kent. Their engagement shoot was also in Canterbury, on one of the sunniest days in Summer. You can view those images here.
However, the wedding day at Winters Barns was anything but sunny. It was easily the rainiest day during the Summer. I drove from Surrey and arrived early, stopping for breakfast and coffee.
I started by photographing the details of the venue. Then I made my way to where {M} and her bridesmaids were getting ready to shoot them getting ready. They all looked stunning, especially {M}. A little later, {B} arrived, looking like a proud man. We captured some images of {M} and {B} before the guests arrived. {B} went to the ceremony hall while {M} and her family finished their final preparations.
{M} looked stunning as she walked up the aisle with her father. The service was over in next to no time.
After the service, everyone waited outside for {M} and {B}, and confetti duly was thrown to celebrate their union. Several family photos were taken between guests having their meals. At this point, {M} returned to her suite and changed into a stunning red kurta surwal while {B} waited for her.
After the traditional Punjabi ceremony, it was time for more delicious food, music, and dancing!!! I took {M} and {B} for some portraits together during this time. The weather by this time was awful, and we were completely soaked by the time we finished.
It is a day I will remember for the stunning couple, the family who made me feel like a part of the family and the weather.
