Rivington Hall Barn Wedding Photography
What a special day for me today as I was documenting my first ever wedding at Rivington Hall Barn as a Wedding Photographer. The wedding couple, Sally and Alex, were a delight, and it was a privilege for me to be a part of their special day.
After a carefree morning spent with Alex and his best men and best woman, it was a quick walk to the church from the pub.
The ceremony took place at the lovely Christ’s Church, a small, but a very beautiful church which retains many of its original pews in place. It also has many historical artefacts too; including the pulpit which is thought to be the place from which Charles II heard his first sermon after his restoration to the throne.
Once the ceremony was over it was a drive through the beautiful Lancashire Moors. The plan was to capture some stunning images of the couple there – however, the great British weather intervened. The moment we stopped, the heavens opened. Thankfully, the rains had stooped by the time we reached Rivington Hall Barn.

Rivington Hall Barn is a magnificent Grade II listed venue and is a most impressive and unique venue for weddings in the North West of England.
The reception was wonderful, with great speeches from the father of the bride, best man, best woman, and the groom. The evening ended with a live band playing/singing fantastic songs.
Congratulations to Sally and Alex on their marriage.
