Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding Photographer

Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding Photographer. I must admit I get an extra special tingle of excitement whenever I have to photograph a wedding at Chelsea Old Town Hall.

Chelsea Old Town Hall is a beautiful building in a perfect location. The recently refurbished Grade II building is a gorgeous backdrop for any wedding photography. Its location in Central London is convenient and advantageous.

First opened in 1907, Chelsea Old Town Hall was built in a neoclassical style popular in London. It has become a building of great significance over the last century and was even the location for a few famous weddings, including Judy Garland’s marriage to Mickey Deans in March 1969, George Best, Michael Winner and Patrick Vieira.

Chelsea Old Town Hall is within walking distance of some of the most famous landmarks globally, and Chelsea is notoriously one of London’s most beautiful areas. Lying directly on the River Thames’ north bank, you can capture the river and its historic bridges in your wedding shots.

The buildings surrounding Chelsea Old Town Hall are some of the oldest in the city, reflected in their historic red brick facades. Decorated with yawning arches, statement stained glass windows, and tiled entranceways, Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding photographs are indeed one of a kind.

Located close to noted landmarks such as Sloane Square, Michelin House, and the Royal Hospital Chelsea, you have ample opportunities for wedding portraits when you book your wedding at Chelsea Old Town Hall.

Chelsea Old Town Hall Testimonial

“We came across Soven and his photography and liked his pictures instantly. His pictures don’t look posed or artificial; they look like screenshots full of emotions of someone else’s special day.

On the day of our wedding, the weather was terrible. It was raining nonstop. We didn’t think we could get any nice pictures outside, but Soven used the rain to make our photographs special. Besides that, he is lovely, and we can recommend him.”

Additionally, one of the most beautiful areas in the city, Physic Garden, is just a stone’s throw away. As a Surrey and London-based Wedding Photographer, I know all the nooks and crannies that provide the best backdrops for wedding photographs. You can depend on my expertise to provide you with once-in-a-lifetime shots that you will hold close to your heart forever.

The building has four different rooms in which you can host your wedding ceremony. As a wedding photographer, these rooms are a gold mine. All painted light and airy pastel colours, with expansive windows, curved ceilings, and ornate fireplaces, present endless opportunities for gorgeous photographs. Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding photography has always resulted in stunning pictures. When you first look at the building, you will see why!

The Main Hall is the most popular choice for wedding receptions. Its marble columns, cove lighting, original oil paintings and ornate wooden panelling can make any event look sophisticated and grand. It comes fully equipped with technical audio and visual aids, making it a perfect place to host both your ceremony and reception. This makes it one of the most unique venues in the city!

I know the importance of capturing the most critical moments. I will encourage you to make the most of your surroundings without taking away from the special moments. Taking a few minutes after your wedding to take some intimate shots around central London will be a decision you won’t regret.

Welcome to the Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding Photography of Catharina and Abdoulie.

A beautiful German-Gambian love story of Catharina and Abdoulie, who met on Facebook!

Catharina’s Facebook profile popped up on Abdoulie’s “Do You Also Know” list one day. He decided to send Catharina, who was living in Texas at the time, a message. Abdoulie was in Germany. They kept in touch, and Catharina eventually moved back to Germany, where they finally decided to meet.

Catharina and Abdoulie knew early on that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. Spending time together was challenging because Abdoulie was in the Army and was either on training or deployment, and Catharina moved away for University and then for a good job. Eventually, the two lovebirds managed to find time for themselves, and during the weekend, Abdoulie proposed to Catharina.

Catharina and Abdoulie wanted a small, intimate wedding under the theme “everyone makes their own rules”.
