About Me

I’m Soven, an award winning Wedding Photographer based in Surrey, capturing the beautiful and unassuming moments that represent the unique bond that is your relationship, in a manner that’s natural, perceptive and nonintrusive.

It’s important that we get along so that you can be at your best and feel unrestrictedly joyful in front of the camera – therefore a little bit about me:

One of my most favourite things in the world to do is to spend time with my daughter and together we enjoy many creative pursuits such as listening to music, watching films and attending concerts.

I am also a dedicated foodie and I just love discovering and experimenting with world cuisine. My favourite dishes have to be Chicken Makhani and Momo which is a type of dumpling made from dough and then filled with either meat or vegetables.

I love to travel, visiting new places (returning to old ones), and experiencing new cultures. Recent adventures have taken me from Albufeira to Zakynthos . Where do you recommend I visit next ?

If you’re considering me as your wedding photographer, let’s meet up for a drink and cake (always cake!), and chat about your amazing wedding!

My Style

Fun and Informal Documentary Wedding Photography

Weddings are such joyous celebrations of life. I believe in approaching  wedding photography in a relaxed and enjoyable way  – without posing or rigidity on the wedding ‘set’.

My ‘on the fly’ documentary style focuses on capturing the people, the moments they share together and their genuine emotions.

I’m also a big believer in keeping things natural and harness natural light and natural settings wherever possible.

Inspiring, Timeless Wedding Portraits with an Edge

Despite taking a photo-journalistic approach through most of the day, I’m also happy to create beautiful wedding portraits.

If time allows and you are up for it, this is when we get to spend some time together and create fun and impressive, slightly edgier photos.

Whether it’s your expression, position or back drop, this is often when the stars align and true portrait wedding photography magic happens.

One of the things that inspired me to shoot weddings is that I get to meet so many new people.

I thoroughly enjoy listening to your back-story and meet your family and friends; over time many couples I’ve worked with have ended up being good friends of mine. It’s one of the reasons that led me to become a Wedding Photographer.
